How to rewind a toroidal transformer secondary winding by hand.
If you like basket weaving then this is for you! First it is well worth wile making a tool to hold the transformer it will save heaps of time and make it easier to hold down the wire and pull it tight and it will be wall worth wile adding extra insulation as well. As for winding a primary or high voltage winding I would not even thing about it! Thou I would certainly consider adding windings for a pre-amp to a toroidal transformer or if a transformer with necessary voltages is not available as was the case for rewinding this one and you have the time then away you go. When I get a bit more time I will include a few more tips that will help, as for now a picture pants a thousand words.
